PRESS BRIEFING: Expert Panel to Address the Future of Feminist Foreign Policy Amid Critical Global Events
As the world faces pivotal moments this fall—with the United Nations General Assembly, the United States presidential election, and COP29 on the horizon—the global movement advancing feminist foreign policies (FFP) is at a critical juncture. The Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative (the Collaborative) invites journalists to join our virtual press briefing that will include panelists from the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), Interruptrr and the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW). The panelists will discuss the current state of FFP both in the U.S. and globally. The briefing will provide journalists with expert insights on how FFP governments are shaping and engaging in these three defining events and what this could mean for the future of multilateral engagement. Following the media briefing, the discussion will be opened up for questions.
